MLB Hall of Famer and Brewers all-time great... Robin Yount... The Kid! This 1995 Design Topps Archive shows off Robin's classic follow through after what was presumably a base hit to right field. This two time MVP captured the hearts of many over his career and especially during the 1982 World Series run.
This piece is made strictly out of Milwaukee Brewers cards (with the exception of Doc Medich's name). The face, mustache, skin and hair is made only out of Robin Yount cards. The yellow background contains the names of players from the 1982 roster and the red nameplate is made up the only Yount, Gantner and Molitor. There actually is one other name in there as a tribute to one of Robin's teammates and best friends. Robin is pointing it out in one of the pictures below. I had the opportunity to meet Robin and have the original autographed and it was a delightful experience. He is as great of a person as he is a baseball player.
Prints and canvases of this piece measure 20" x 28". Please contact me if interested!
